The Glentworth Family had a hard year with the loss of Wally to Cancer, we all gathered at a creek not far from the original family home to send pop on his way for the last time into the mighty Whanganui River that was a big part in his life.

The following poem was inspired by his grandchildren;

May you find your river,

Where the water runs clear,

The fish are always biting,

And the hills run with Deer.

This will be your Nirvana

A place that looks to the East

With Mountains, Rivers and Valleys

Poppa, May you Hunt in Peace
